Yu T. Su received Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, USA, in 1983. From 1983 to 1989, he was with LinCom Corporation, Los Angeles, USA, where he was involved in various satellite communication and measurement systems design. He was a Corporate Scientist when he left LinCom. Since September 1989, he has been with the National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan and is currently a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He was an Associative Dean of the College of Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2004 to 2007, Head of the Communications Engineering Department from 2001 to 2003. He is also affiliated with the Microelectronic and Information Systems Research Center of the same university and served as a Deputy Director during 1997-2000. From 2005 to 2008, he was the Area Coordinator of Taiwan National Science Council's Telecommunications Program. His main research interests include communication systems, networking and statistical signal processing.

Jiun-Hung Yu received the M.S. degree in communication engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from ETH Zurich, in 2014. From 2003 to 2008, he was with Realtek Semiconductor Cooperation, Hsinchu, Taiwan. From 2008 to 2017, he was with the Signal and Information Processing Laboratory of ETH Zurich. Since 2017, he has been with National Chiao Tung University. He is currently an Assistant Professor. His research interests include communication theory, error-correcting codes, and statistical signal processing.

Tofar C.-Y. Chang received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Communication Engineering and Institute of Communications Engineering, National Chiao Tung University (currently National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University), Hsinchu, Taiwan. From 2015 to 2021, he was with National Chiao Tung University, where he was an Assistant Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2020 to 2021. Since 2021, he has been with National Taipei University of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, where he is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering. His current research interests include error-control schemes and ner-generation mobile communications.
